Della Terra 'The Late Harvest' Dinner / The Barn at Holly Farm

“Nothing brings people together like good food” -- which is exactly what Chef Cody Castiglia did at this incredible fundraising event, hosted by Della Terra Farm Catering.

Meaning “from the earth”, Della Terra supports local farmers by designing menus that are made from natural sustainable food. The vision of the fundraiser dinner was to gather funds to obtain and renovate a catering kitchen of their own, in beautiful Historic Downtown Snohomish.

The Barn at Holly Farm graciously partnered with us to host this event at their venue which was perfect for the late summer-cozy-rustic look that we were going for. We had many incredible sponsors who helped us pull the event together, one of them being Confete Balloons!

Are you guys ready for this gorgeous display of balloons? Jamie and her team donated these balloon arches that went perfectly over the stairwell, as well as the entrance to the dining area.

Flower Farmer Girls and Melanie Hoff provided us with beautiful floral arrangements that we highlighted as the dinner table centerpiece. Stunning!

Can we talk about the food?

So vibrant, fresh, and DELICIOUS. Good thing he made a ton of extra because guests kept coming back for more!

Just to give an idea of what was on the menu…

Build Your Own Bruschetta Bar with Roasted Rosemary Focaccia, Peak Season Tomatoes, Basil & Salt, Variety of Local Cheeses, Raw & Pickled Local Vegetables, Cured Meats, Red Pepper & Hazelnut Romesco Sauce, Saffron Compressed Melons. Next, Dungeness Crab Cakes with Roasted Poblano Crema, Sweet Corn Salad, Variety of Peppers, Micro Herbs. Last but not least, BBQ Braised Chinook Farms Beef Sliders with Charred Stone Fruit and Smoked Tomato Barbecue Sauce, Local Beer Caramelized Onions, Beecher’s Flagship, Housemade Pickles

And that’s just the appetizer..who else is drooling?!

Pictures speak a thousand words, and needless to say, Cody’s food was a hit.

In addition to the wonderful food, the event included an auction where items generously donated by several sponsors were auctioned off at dinner. Of course, all contributions went to fund the catering kitchen for Della Terra.

Some of the items included: Signed Seahawks jersey, Beecher’s Homemade cheese, cooking classes hosted by the chef himself, Cody Castiglia, wine, spa vouchers, and many more.

We could not have pulled off this event without the help of all of our amazing sponsors and vendors!

Thank you to the following sponsors and vendors who made this event a success:

Cheers!
